Dr. Matthew Davis and The Staff of Family Friend Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge are pleased to announce Dr. Richard Berta began practicing at our hospital on October 8th, 2009.
Beginning March 1, 2010, all Boarding and Grooming dogs will be REQUIRED to have the Canine Influenza Vaccine (CIV). The initial vaccine requires 2 doses 2-4 weeks apart, followed by an annual revaccination.
When you pay for both vaccines at once, we will take $5.00 off

Bloodsuckers: Fleas and Ticks |
Those fleas! They are more than just a nuisance, as they also transmit tapeworms, some bacterial and viral infections, and are the culprits behind one of the most common allergic conditions affecting our pets-flea allergic dermatitis. Fleas are blood suckers, and to survive, they are amazingly good at it. We have actually seen puppies and kittens, and even some adult dogs and cats, suffering from severe anemia because they were so flea infested.
